It's a dismal post-punk Birmingham City, England, 1986. The following night after the Sigue Sigue Sputnik gig held at the Powerhouse Ballroom on March the 9th, twenty-something goth kid Angel T. Cooley commits suicide down in a Subway via drug overdose at 3 a.m. In a Cigarette Burn in the Sun we traipse through the days both preceding and following his death through an array of characters who in some way came into contact with him.
